What is PtSU exactly about?
PtSU stands for Paid to Sign Up. We offer different free campaigns, made available by our advertisers and partners. When you sign up to one of these campaigns you get paid a certain amount of money. How much differs from campaign to campaign and can change during time. The exact amount you can earn is published in the listing so you do know how much you will be credited for before you decide to sign up to one or more campaigns. Membership is completely free and instant without any obligations.

How much can I earn?
This depends from your efforts. We provide enough signups through our site so you can make at least $10 per week. However, your country of origin is a significant factor. Most advertisers and/or partners prefer US citizens, meaning if you are living in the US you can make more than someone living in eg Belgrade. PtSU works really hard to attract international based advertisers and/or partners but some restrictions may apply. Please read 'Do you allow International members' for more info.

Basically, for all our members you can earn money at PtSU on the following ways: by signing up to the campaigns, upgrade to a Premium Membership, bring in referrals and follow our newsletter. Premium members get paid more per campaign. On how to become a Premium Member you can read 'What is a Premium Membership'. If one of your referrals sign up to a campaign, you are credited with a small amount of money too. Our newsletter brings you an additional list of signups, mostly temporarily, but you get paid for each one of them too. Here is a basic example, based on most of our US members model:
- You are a Premium Member: in stead of the $10 per week, this is raised to a $20 per week. $80 per month
- You have five active referrals. This gives you an extra income of $10 per week. $50 per month
- You follow our newsletter and you get an additional $2.50 per week. $10 per month
This means, for this example on an average basis, you can get as much as $140 per month.

What is a Premium Membership?
A Premium Membership is a special status of your account. Being a Premium Member you get paid more per sign up. The amount varies per campaign. In difference with other gpt sites we don't charge money for upgrading to a Premium Membership. With PtSU you can become a Premium Member by signing up to one of the special offers listed in your stats screen. You can choose which campaign you want to sign up but the length of your Premium Membership is decided by the offer itself. Please read the campaign information before you sign up.

Why is the waiting list for?
The waiting list is been put in place to make sure our advertisers are getting the most value and our active members the chance to earn as much as possible. An advertisement is available for only a certain amount of signups. If this value is outnumbered with the amount of members - chances are slim you get the opportunity to subscribe for it, leaving you left with nothing. If you do want to become a member at PtSU, you can send an email to support@ptsignup.com with the subject 'Waiting list - Your country'. If a spot opens, we use the waiting list to fill it back up.

What do you mean with the awaiting balance?
Each time you subscribed to a certain campaign, you have to click the appropriate validate button. The campaign disappears from your list, but the money earned - based if you are a standard or a premium member - gets credited into your balance. When your signup is confirmed, the money will be put into your current balance. The time of validation depends per campaign. Most of them are validated in one day, sometimes less. Few campaigns - like eg where you have to download something, or where there is an age verification in place - can take up to one month. If your signup is faulty - the balance will be erased. If this happens several times you will get a warning. If you keep to ask validation for bad signups your membership will be cancelled.

I want to unsubscribe to your newsletter. How do I do that?
Unsubscribing to our newsletter also means you unsubscribe from our services with complete loss of outstanding payments and your current balance. Furthermore, once you unsubscribe you can't subscribe again. We apply this rule to prevent fraudulent signups so we can keep high standards to our advertisers. If you want to unsubscribe, please send an email with your last name, your registered email adress and the provided AlertPay account to unsubscribe@ptsignup.com.

When and how will I get paid?
You can request pay out at any time provided you have earned the approved sum of at least $10. You can request a pay out by clicking on the button in your stats screen. We pay following the net month 15 for our US, CA or UK members. International members can request a pay out after reaching the minimum of the approved sum of at least $15. They will get paid within 8 weeks. We only pay via AlertPay.

How many people in my household can join?
Basically, everyone with a valid email and a valid AlertPay account can join. However, most of our advertisers use a cookie-based system to prevent multiple signups and/or fraudulent actions. These cookies are stored on the computer. So while there is no limit on how many people can join, there is a limit on how many computers can have access. To keep it simple and safe we follow this rule: Every member of PtSU has to have his or her own AlertPay account, a genuine personal email address and a sole use of a computer. We do not allow multiple people using the same email address and/or the same AlertPay account.
